Zhongnan Online Nov.19-----On November 18th, 2014 Annual Meeting of University Broadcasting Professional Committee of Hubei Province was held in Wuhan Engineering Institute of Science and Technology, the people who are in charge of the propaganda department and the instructors who are from 36 colleges and universities of the province attended the meeting. The meeting summed up the work of the Association in 2014, at the same time discussed the work plan of Broadcasting Association in 2015 and how to coordinate better between the various college radio stations and other issues. The outstanding broadcasting stations and advanced individuals for the current year were commended at the meeting.
The chairman of University Broadcasting Professional Committee of Hubei province Chen Sizhong summed up the work of Broadcasting Association of Hubei Province in 2014, and announced the list of advanced collectives and outstanding individuals in 2014. The radio station of WUT was awarded the title of " Advanced University Broadcasting Unit" for eight years, the instructor of the radio station Yang Chunhui was named " Advanced Individual of University Broadcasting of Hubei province ", the students of Zhang Ying, Yang Lihua, Cui Jing, He Qiuguo, Zhao Tiantian, Yang Yi, Zhang Qi, Zeng Peng, Yang Zhenjie, Ye Xinru and so on were named "Outstanding Individual of University Broadcasting of Hubei province".
The radio station of WUT was established in 2001, adhering to the goal of “voice is power" and revolving around the advocacy center of the Party, passing the correct information and creating a culture, guiding public opinions correctly on campus and leading the campus culture , creating the university spirit and culture. It makes innovation of broadcasting ways continuously, and carries out the work of radio propaganda firmly and makes efforts to enrich the cultural life of campus and makes a positive contribution to the construction of the radio station. Passing power by voice, the radio station of WUT won the title of "Voice of Charm" on the third Contest of Campus Charm Figure.
