Recently, the teachers and students of Chinese Language and Literature School of WUT wrote "Boys’ Safety Manual ", which was officially published by Wuhan University Press, in addition to open external sales, the books are also given to the boys who are studying at WUT. This book is designed to help boys to enhance their awareness of protection, improve their safety awareness, and learn to protect themselves.
"Boys Safety Manual" was written by 2 instructors and 14 students of Chinese Language and Literature School of WUT, thousands of boys, university teachers, psychologists, etc. participated in the writing, the ins and outs of the writing, such as topics planning, data collection and so on, lasted more than a year, and the book has a total of 337,000 words. One of the writers of "Boys’ Safety Manual", the student of Chinese Language and Literature School of WUT, Tian Tian in an interview with reporters said the preparatory work, the editors organized to mobilize the power of teachers and students, issuing more than 2,000 copies of the questionnaire in and out of the campus. The results showed that both men and women always faced the threat of insecurity. The book covers not only the prevention of accidents suffered in school boys, but also covers boys’ safety issues of physiology, psychology , home , travelling , communication and other aspects.
