Recently, a report from the “Huawei Academy 2016-2017 ICT Skill Competition” showed our school student Chen Xuewei, a senior students in class 1301 of the School of Information Engineering won a second award in the final competition. According to the report, the competition set one first award, three second awards and eight third awards.

This competition was held by Huawei Authorized Information and Network Academy, and it’s separated by the preliminary and final competitions with 2 groups of domestic and overseas students over 12,000 people that came from China, U.K, Spain, Australia and South Africa etc.

The preliminary competition was online test, and only the top 3 students of each division(each province) were qualified to take the final competition.Eventually,96 candidates of 32 division groups acquired the qualification to join the final competition in which the competitors needed to practice the experiment in the lab in real environment simulation at Huawei headquarters in Shenzhen.
