一、学校及学院简介

武昌理工学院创办于 1997 年，已发展成为以工学为主体，管理学、理学为两翼，经济学、文学、艺术学、法学、医学、教育学等多学科协调发展的全日制普通本科高校。2018 年，学校通过了教育部本科教学工作合格评估；2025 年，学校通过了教育部本科教学工作审核评估。学校位于 “武汉中国光谷”, 占地 82.81 万平方米，建筑面积 44.4 万平方米，坐落在美丽的梅南山麓，被亚洲最大的城中湖汤逊湖三面环抱，欧式风格建筑掩映在青山绿水之中，风景如画，是全国十大美丽湖景校园之一。

学校连续三年位居 “中国民办大学国际化竞争力排行榜” 第二名。学校实施开放办学战略，不断加大国际化人才培养力度，在国际合作办学方面起步早、范围广、数量多、竞争力强。先后与美国、英国、加拿大、澳大利亚、法国、意大利、日本、韩国、新加坡等 20 多个国家的 50 多所大学建立了校际合作关系。

国际教育学院是武昌理工学院的直属学院，成立于 2008 年，负责全校学生出国 (境) 学习、国际学生招生、教学与日常管理、与海外合作高校开展教学及科研合作等方面的工作。学院积极开展来华留学教育，共招收了来自俄罗斯、德国、泰国、马来西亚、哈萨克斯坦、巴基斯坦、印度、孟加拉国、津巴布韦、埃塞俄比亚、卢旺达、坦桑尼亚、摩洛哥等 30 多个国家长短期国际学生 300 余人，其中学历生达 200 余人，国际学生培养数量在国内同类高校中排名第一。学院下设院办、招生办、教学管理科、国际学生管理科，配备业务能力、外语水平和跨文化能力强的专职留管人员和一批能全英文授专业课专任教师 30 余人。国际学生的管理与服务工作多次得到了教育主管部门和武汉市出入境管理局的肯定。

学院开设了工商管理、国际经济与贸易、计算机科学与技术、土木工程等一批具有国际影响力的英语授课本科专业教学项目，现有在校国际学生 200 余名。还设有国家汉语水平考试 (HSK) 考点，开展汉语水平考试 (HSK) 和汉语语言培训等活动，提升汉语国际教育影响力。

学院通过探索实践，培养了一批既有扎实专业功底，同时又 “知华、友华、爱华” 的国际人才 200 余人。优秀校友不断涌现，70% 校友选择继续深造硕士研究生，部分校友成长为当地著名中资企业的高级技术专家，许多校友回国后创立来华留学服务公司。学院还在哈萨克斯坦、土库曼斯坦、俄罗斯联邦等国成立了校友会。

I. Introduction to the University and the School

Wuchang University of Technology was founded in 1997 and has developed into a full-time undergraduate institution of higher education with engineering as its core discipline, management and science as its two supporting pillars, and coordinated development across multiple disciplines including economics, literature, arts, law, medicine, education, and others. In 2018, the University passed the Ministry of Education’s Undergraduate Teaching Qualification Evaluation, and in 2025, it successfully passed the Undergraduate Teaching Audit Evaluation organized by the Ministry of Education.

Located in “Optics Valley of China, Wuhan,” the University covers an area of 828,100 square meters, with a total building area of 444,000 square meters. Nestled at the foot of the scenic Meinan Mountain and surrounded on three sides by Tangxun Lake-the largest urban lake in Asia-the campus features European-style architecture set amid lush green hills and clear waters. With picturesque scenery, it has been recognized as one of China’s Top Ten Most Beautiful Lakeside Campuses.

The University has ranked second for three consecutive years in the “China Private Universities Internationalization Competitiveness Ranking.” Adhering to an open education strategy, the University continuously strengthens international talent cultivation. It is an early adopter and strong performer in international cooperative education, characterized by a wide scope, large scale, and strong competitiveness. To date, it has established inter-university cooperative relationships with more than 50 universities in over 20 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, France, Italy, Japan, South Korea, and Singapore.

School of International Education is a directly affiliated school of Wuchang University of Technology. Established in 2008, it is responsible for organizing and managing outbound study programs for students, recruiting international students, overseeing teaching and daily management of international students, and conducting teaching and research cooperation with overseas partner institutions. The School actively promotes education for international students in China and has enrolled more than 300 short-term and degree-seeking international students from over 30 countries, including Russia, Germany, Thailand, Malaysia, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Tanzania, and Morocco. Among them, more than 200 are degree students. The scale of international student cultivation ranks first among similar institutions nationwide.

The School consists of the Administrative Office, Admissions Office, Teaching Management Office, and International Student Affairs Office. It is staffed with dedicated professionals who possess strong business competence, foreign language proficiency, and cross-cultural communication skills, as well as more than 30 full-time faculty members capable of delivering professional courses entirely in English. The management and service work for international students has been repeatedly recognized and commended by educational authorities and the Wuhan Immigration and Emigration Administration.

The School offers a number of internationally influential English-taught undergraduate programs, including Business Administration, International Economics and Trade, Computer Science and Technology, and Civil Engineering. At present, there are more than 200 international students enrolled. The College also serves as a test center for the Chinese Proficiency Test (HSK), providing HSK examinations and Chinese language training programs, thereby enhancing the international influence of Chinese language education.

Through continuous exploration and practice, the School has cultivated more than 200 international talents who possess solid professional expertise while also “understanding China, being friendly to China, and loving China.” Outstanding alumni continue to emerge: 70% of graduates choose to pursue further studies at the master’s level, some have grown into senior technical experts in well-known Chinese-funded enterprises in their home countries, and many have established study-in-China service companies after returning home. In addition, alumni associations have been established in Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, and the Russian Federation.

4. If the number of students enrolled in a specific program is insufficient, program adjustment may be made. Priority will be given to transferring students to related or similar programs whenever possible.

三、申请资格

1、申请人须是非中国国籍公民，年满 18 周岁，持有效外国护照，身体健康，品行端正，遵守中国法律、法规和学校的规章制度。 申请当年 8 月 31 日前未满 18 周岁者，须按要求提供《未成年人委托书》。

2、高中毕业及以上学历 (申请时尚未毕业须提供预毕业证明，最迟在入学前取得高中毕业证书)。

3、有关国籍身份的认定，符合中华人民共和国教育部教外函【2020】12 号文件规定。

III. Eligibility Requirements

1. Applicants must be Non-Chinese citizens with valid foreign passports and shall be over 18 years old. He/She should be in good health conditions and of good conduct. He/She should also abide by the Chinese laws, regulations and the rules of the university. Applicants under the age of 18 by August 31 in the current year must provide the Power of Attorney as required.

2. Applicants should be graduated from high school or above (Applicants who are still in the last year of high school can provide expected graduation certificate for submitting application while the official graduation certificate must be provided before enrollment).

3. Comply with the regulations of the Ministry of Education's document [2020] No.12.

四、费用标准

1. 申请费：500 元 / 人 (仅在申请时一次性缴纳，如最终未被录取，则退还该费用；如被录取，则报到时抵扣学费；如被录取后放弃报到，则该费用不退。)

2. 学费：15000 元 / 学年

3. 住宿费：三人间 3000 元 / 人 / 学年；双人间 5000 元 / 人 / 学年；单人间 12000 元 / 人 / 学年

4. 保险费：800 元 / 学年

5. 教材费：200 元

IV. Fee Structure

Application Fee: RMB 500 per person (Payable once at the time of application. If the applicant is not admitted, the fee will be refunded. If admitted, the fee will be deducted from the tuition upon registration. If admitted but the student gives up registration, the fee is non-refundable.) 五、奖学金

一等奖学金：7000 元 / 学年 二等奖学金：3000 元 / 学年

该奖学金用于抵扣学费，将根据申请者综合情况进行择优选拔，主要以最高学历的成绩单 GPA 计算基础分，相关证书以及申请者所提交视频内容作为加分项进行计算。对于申请一等奖学金学生，须参加面试，合格后方可获得一等奖学金。

V. Scholarships

First-Class Scholarship: RMB 7,000 per academic year Second-Class Scholarship: RMB 3,000 per academic year

The scholarships are used to offset tuition fees and will be awarded on a competitive basis according to the applicant’s overall qualifications. The primary evaluation criterion is the GPA from the transcript of the applicant’s highest completed level of education. Relevant certificates and the video submitted by the applicant will be considered as additional merit points. Applicants for the First-Class Scholarship are required to attend an interview. Only those who pass the interview will be eligible to receive the First-Class Scholarship.

六、申请途径与材料

登录国际学生在线申请系统 (https://wut.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx), 注册账号，并在线填写入学申请表，上传以下材料，支付报名费，完成在线申请。

在线申请材料清单（建议提前扫描为 PDF 保存）

1、护照扫描件 (护照信息页，jpg/png/PDF 格式)；

2、在中国学习 / 工作者，提交在华签证或居留许可扫描件；

3、学历证书扫描件；应届生提供预毕业证明（毕业日期不晚于 2026 年 8 月 31 日），入学核验原件；

4、完整高中成绩单；大学在读生额外提供大学成绩单；

5、近期电子版证件照（jpg/png）；

6、语言证明（托福、雅思、HSK 等）；

7、医院出具体检报告；

8、无犯罪记录证明；

9、资产证明（本人或父母名下存款不低于 4000 美元）；

10、未满 18 周岁提交监护人保证书；

11、1-3 分钟英文自我介绍 + 学习规划视频。

补充可选材料

担保证明、推荐信、获奖证书、在校表现证明等。

注意事项

1、学校可要求申请人补充其他材料；

2、材料仅限中文、英文；其他语种需提供公证翻译件；

3、材料不全不予受理，所有申请材料无论录取与否均不予退还。

VI. Application Procedures and Required Documents

Applicants should log in to the Online Application System for International Students (https://wut.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx), register an account, complete the online application form, upload the required documents listed below, pay the application fee, and submit the application.

List of Documents to Be Uploaded for Online Application (It is recommended to scan all documents in advance and save them as PDF files for easy uploading.)

1. Passport Scan (Information page of the passport; JPG, PNG, or PDF format is recommended);

2. Visa or Residence Permit in China: Applicants who are currently studying or working in China must also submit a scanned copy of their valid Chinese visa or residence permit;

3. Academic Certificate: A scanned copy of the highest academic qualification certificate. Current graduating students may submit a pre-graduation certificate, with the expected graduation date no later than August 31, 2026. Upon registration, the original diploma must be verified and a photocopy submitted;

4. Academic Transcripts: A scanned copy of the complete high school transcript. Applicants who have studied at a university must also provide transcripts of completed university coursework;

5. Recent Passport-Style Photo (Electronic version; JPG or PNG format is recommended);

6. Language Proficiency Certificates: Such as TOEFL, IELTS, HSK, or other relevant certificates;

7. Physical Examination Report Issued by a recognized hospital;

8. Non-Criminal Record Certificate Issued by a public security authority or the applicant’s school;

9. Proof of Financial Support: A bank deposit certificate under the applicant’s or parents’ name with a balance of no less than USD 4,000;

10. Guardian Guarantee Letter Required for applicants under the age of 18;

11. Video Submission (1-3 minutes): An English video introducing the applicant, including a self-introduction and study plan.

Additional Materials (if available): Financial guarantee letter, recommendation letters, certificates of awards, proof of academic performance or conduct, etc.

Notes

· In addition to the application materials detailed above, applicants should submit other supplementary materials required by WUT in time.

· Documents other than Chinese or English are required to be translated and notarized.

· Applicants who provide incomplete materials will not be accepted. The materials above won’t be returned whether you are admitted or not.

七、录取程序

1、提交材料后缴纳申请费，未缴费申请不予受理；

2、国际学生招生办初审材料，初审通过后报送湖北省教育厅审核；

3、JW202 表审批通过后发放录取通知书；申请人预缴 3500 元学费后发放 JW202 表；

4、学生在规定报到日期到校，缴清剩余费用后方可办理入学手续。

VII. Admission Procedures

1. Applicants must pay the application fee after submitting all required application materials. Applications without payment of the application fee will not be processed.

2. The International Student Admissions Office of Wuchang University of Technology will conduct a preliminary review of the application materials. Applications that pass the initial review will be submitted to the Hubei Provincial Department of Education for further approval.

3. After the application for the JW202 Form is approved, Wuchang University of Technology will issue the Admission Notice to the applicant. The JW202 Form will be released after the applicant pays a prepayment of RMB 3,500 toward tuition.

4. Students must register on campus within the date specified by the University. After completing registration and paying the remaining fees, students may proceed with the formal enrollment procedures.
